The festivities will begin Thursday morning with the customary visit of deities of eight constituent temples in and around Thrissur to Vadakkunathan temple.
The processions of Thiruvambady and Paramekkavu deities will arrive at Vadakkunathan Temple, accompanied by Panchavadyam and Pandimelam.

The procession of Thiruvambady, 'Madathil Varavu' will start at 11 a.m. whereas that of Paramekkavu will start at 12 p.m.
Padmasree Peruvanam Kuttan Marar and Kizhakkuttu Aniyan Marar will lead the percussion ensembles to be presented by Paramekkavu and Thiruvambady Devaswoms respectively.
Tusker Kuttankulangara Arjunan will hold the idol of Paramekkavu Goddess while Thiruvambady Sivasundar will hold the idol of Thiruvambady Goddess.
