Opened SR 9/5/2009...got letter from CRIS...wait 6 months.
For my wife , we got 60 days wait letter.
I m the primary applicant!
Has anyone ,tried to contact Congressman/Senetor's office?
How can i do it?
I m in Orange county, CA.

You may google to find out the senator(s) for your state. Every senator must be having their own web-site. Get the phone # from their web site. Call them and tell them that you need help in Immigration and explaing them briefly. They will take your SRC # and contact TSC on behalf of you.

I saw that Ron told one "so depressed" in his Forum..that we can launch a law suit..against this new interpretation..however..I dont know its worth the time and effort..although uscis learns only by law suits..
Lets see next months Visa allocation for the new year and see where it starts from..I am hoping from Mid of 03..lets see..besides..only quick solution so far is the Visa capture ..dont know where it stands...
we got 20 more days to influence people about EB-3 numbers..what is the most effective thing to do collectively before he new Visa bull comes out..

Vonage has a contract of 1 year. Have to pay around $100 if you break the contract.
Lingo has a contract for 2 years. Will have to pay a similar contract break fee for Lingo as well.
Monthly charges for world plan: Lingo is cheaper than vonage
Voice quality: Vonage is slightly better than Lingo. Lingo is ok too.
Customer service: Vonage is better than Lingo
Contract Period: Vonage 1 year. Lingo 2 years
Plan selections: Lingo has more plan selections.

I was a lingo customer long back (before sunrocket) and their customer service is horrible. I tried to switch to lingo when Sunrocket was closed and had a bad experience with customer service rep that time too. I decided not to go with lingo ever (what every offer they have). I may consider go back to teleblend, if they have a good deal OR any problem with Vonage.

We are travelling next month and our travel agent wisely suggested and booked tickets for us via frankfurt by air india. He knows that london is a problem especially when you are coming back on AP.

It's funny how many types of personalities you see in everyday life. I remember in my early childhood days there always use to be one guy at the least in my class who would do things that would freak everybody out....usually he would be the teacher's cutest student. Thanks Ram. What is strange that my attorney on record did not even get the letter of denial. I have scheduled infopass for Jan 5th. I have H1B until June 2009 and EAD unitil Sep 2009. My wife and I have been working on EAD and traveled on AP.
Question to you and other members: Can I work until Sept 2009? I don't think my letter says that EAD was revoked (that is me speculating until I get the letter)

- H1 is still valid even if your 485 got rejected until you get notice to that regard separately.
- If you have not shifted to EAD,You can continue working on H1
I continued working on H1 during my MTR approval process( Sep08 to Dec 08). My 485 got rejected due to earlier employers revocation of I 140.
Attorney gets the notice. Find out from all your attorneys and their staff if you have access to do so.
Call USCIS and find out the reason of rejection first or take info pass and find out the reason and act fast. You have already crossed general response time(30 days normally).

I already took Vonage world phone. I am happy with it. However, I happened to see somewhere in the thread about Lingo offering india calling even through the mobile. That had me give a second thought on switching over to Lingo.
However, when I read the fine print on the lingo site, it mentions you cannot call Mobile phones in India. This catch makes me go crazy. Can some one confirm how are they handling with this constraint. Is that still a good option to switch over vonage to lingo based on this single feature?

I received a similar response to the 2nd SR. I was told that my case was under additional review and to allow them 60 days. However, my wife's case had been assigned to an officer for review.
Did you send an email to TSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov (for TSC - another email for NSC). I had no clue where my application was when even 2006 cases were getting approved. I am seeing some movement after emailing them.

Why they need name check when they have finger print? Name can be change any time where as finger print cant be.
