My wife and I (dependent application with wife's application as primary) received the receipt notices on 14th Sept. Our filing dates for AP,EAD,485 are under
Date applications received by USCIS - 30th July
Receipt notices received by us - 14th Sept.
My wife got her FP notice and is scheduled for biometrics/FP for 17th Oct. However, I havent received my FP notice. I wanted to check if this is normal? Shouldnt both of us be receiving the notices together? Sorry for the silly question.

You probably might want to ask whether he is willing to work the attorney instead of you. He may not want to disclose the client/venture capital infos, business plans, possible future investment deals and financial information to you, but might work with an attorney. He already might have provided a high level financial info when the employer sponsored your H1B.
Anyway as a rule of thumb, many issues can open-up during the whole process. And without full employer support these hurdles might be difficult cross. So if the employer is not co-operating for something very basic as this, you might want to ask yourself, whether the employer might really be co-operative in other issues.

"Pre-existing conditions". Does this include Visitors as well who are legally here?
Pre-existing conditions are covered right away for childern only. For Adults, the pre-existing condition coverage starts in 2013.

no worries mate,
same happened to me and it was just for a biometrics notice, though CPO e-mail has the same messages still. I was also freaked out since if it were true I would have been approved when NOT current and believe me, you DONT want that to happen...
anyways, you should get your FP notice in the mail in a week or so..

I have faxed my EAD copy to Sacramento office and followed with them. They asked me to wait for 3 weeks. I received the Licence in mail today. Thanks for all sharing your experience and it was very help full.

We are now looking to get an OCI for our 5 months old son (US Citizen)..but strangely saw this on the Indian consulate website... CGI SF Contents (http://www.cgisf.org/contents/view/47)
Q 6: Are minor children whose both parents are Indian citizens eligible for OCI?
Ans : No.
So did something change in the last 5 years or so ?
Our elder kid was born here in 2005 and we got her an OCI for her when she was 1 or so..

They changed the rule a few months after the OCI was introduced, that one parent need have the foreign nationality to get OCI for the kid.
Now, they have announced that OCI and PIO will be merged. So, talk to the SFO consulate to find out the latest rules.

What will happen to my original H1-B with company A?
You will have H1B from company A until they cancel it.
Will company A come to know about the H1-B transfer application?
Will USCIS contact company A and verify what i have complained about?
No they cannot ..USCIS never request from previous employer directly.If you complain, USCIS will audit the company A and they will not reveal personal inforamtion of your unless you authorize them to do so..

There is no country more friendly than the USA. And about living conditions, that is totally relative. Where in the US do you live? If you live in some godfosaken place, may be conditions are bad. Every place has good parts and bad party to reside in. I choose where I want to live. Simple!
I would say choosing Germany over US would be a mistake for anyone. Germans are moving to Detroit in droves. There are many little Germanys in the US but not one little America in Europe (whole). :o

Hmm.I am also in the same process. EB2 Dec 2006 as PD and 140 pending (applied in Apr 2007). Also looking for the MBA thing..Not sure if this is the right move :(

When you paper-file EAD(you send the pictures), no fingerprint available is displayed in the card.
When you e-file EAD(no need to send pictures), the picture and fingerprint are taken in the ASC.
