Rebecca Black’s “Friday” Removed From YouTube Again

Rebecca Black’s “Friday” music video has removed from Youtube. Rebecca Black’s “Friday” racked up over 160 million views on YouTube. The video is unavailable due to copyright claims from Black, had amassed more than 167 million views, and had over 3.1 million “dislikes” (87% of total ratings) from YouTube users. The comments on the video, which were mostly negative, have been disabled.

Rebecca Black’s “Friday” video have removed by the same company that created it. Ark Music Factory has created this video. A YouTube spokesperson said in a statement to the TechCrunch, Rebecca Black’s “Friday” has removed due to a copyright claim filed by Rebecca Black apparently.


“YouTube takes copyright infringement very seriously. When we receive a complaint alleging that a video infringes another person or company’s copyrights, we remove that video. Users who believe that a video was removed in error can appeal the copyright takedown”.

Black and her mother threatened Ark Music Factory back in April with a lawsuit, alleging they never gave them master copies of the recording and were selling an unauthorized ringtone of the song.
